La Playa Booking Terms and Conditions

Please read carefully before making your booking at La Playa Villas, Bali. 

Bookings

Booking are made via our website booking portal or you can email us directly at bali@peppahart.com. Any quotes given via email are only valid for 48 hours. 

Payments and Cancellations

There is a strict no cancellation policy, if you cancel your booking your funds will be forfeited. You may modify your booking prior to 30 days of your arrival. You can modify your booking once to an alternative date within the next 12 months of your original booking. 

To secure your booking you must pay 50% deposit, with remaining balance of 50% due 30 days prior to your arrival. The final 50% payment will be automatically deducted from your credit card you paid your deposit with. 

No cancellations or modifications are accepted within the 30 days before your arrival. Should you need to cancel or modify within this time frame, funds will be forfeited. 

Payments are accepted via Credit Card within our booking portal. 

Villa rates are shown in Indonesian Rupiah IDR. If you are using a different currency, it is your responsibility to ensure you’re aware of the conversion rate.

There is a 2 night minimum stay. 

No refunds are given if the accommodation is deemed unsuitable after check in. 

Damage

We understand that accidents happen, if any damage happens to the property or contents it is the responsibility of you to cover costs associated with replacing the item or repairing the damage. Please notify us as soon as something has been damaged so we can arrange for it to be repaired or replaced before our next guests arrive. 

Families and Children

Children are more than welcome at La Playa, with a porta cot and high chair available on request at no additional charge. When you make your booking please email us to arrange these items. Should you need a car seat for your airport transfer please notify us ahead of your arrival. 

Please note there are no pool fences. It is your responsibility to ensure the safety of your children. There are several baby hire companies on the island, and we can arrange temporary fencing for your stay and this will be charged to you directly.

No refund will be given if the accommodation is deemed unsuitable for children once you arrive. 

Number of Guests

Villa suits up to 6 occupants total (ie. 6 adults/4 adults + 2 children/2 adults + 4 children), with an exception for children under one, as we can provide a porta cot and high chair. 

A small number of guests can visit the villa but are not permitted to sleepover. Additional charges will be applied if persons exceeding the booking are staying at the property and we retain the right to evict any additional guests.

Should this policy be violated, we retain the right to cancel the complete booking at any time during your stay. 

Check In and Check out

Standard check in time is 2:00pm and accommodation is to be vacated by 11.00am on the day of departure. An additional fee will be charged if you do not check out by 11.00am. Early arrivals and late check outs are at the discretion of management and must be requested at the time of booking and can only be confirmed 1 day prior to arrival or departure.

Cleaning

Extra cleaning and linen change can be arranged during your stay for an additional charge, at a cost to you. Please contact our villa manager for further details. On departure, your accommodation is to be left in a clean state. Extra cleaning charges will apply if this condition is breached.

Smoking

Smoking inside the villa is strictly prohibited. Please ensure doors and windows are closed if smoking on balconies or backyard.

Personal Belongings

You acknowledge that we do not cover your personal belongings under our terms and therefore take no responsibility for any loss or damage of the occupant’s personal property left on the premises and agree that you will not make any claim against us for any damages or loss to your personal belongings regardless of how or where the loss or damage occurred.

Behavior

Parties or gatherings are strictly prohibited unless prior arrangements have been made. Disturbance to other accommodation guests and neighbours including excessive noise and music is prohibited and may result in eviction without refund. If a noise complaint is received a first warning will be given, if a second complaint is received this will result in immediate eviction with no refund.

Travel Insurance

We strongly recommend you purchase comprehensive travel insurance at the time of booking. We suggest that the policy should include, but not be limited to, the reimbursement of any monies paid in the event the travel is cancelled; loss or damage to personal baggage and loss of money and medical expenses.

Breakages and Damages

Upon check out accommodation should be left clean and tidy. Damages or breakages of furniture or furnishings must be reported to Management immediately. Breakages or damages to the property and all communal or external areas that are caused by any guest and/or a guest’s visitor will be charged and recouped in full by the guest. Excess cleaning required on departure or replacement of items removed from the accommodation will be the responsibility of the guest. Furniture, fixtures and fittings are not to be altered or moved between rooms. There will be a charge incurred if furniture is not returned to its original location.

Pool Rules

All guests using the pool do so at their own risk. You acknowledge that we are not responsible for accidents or injuries. No diving, running or pushing in the pool area is allowed. No glassware allowed in the pool area. Children must be supervised at all times. Please note both the inside and outside floors (tiles and concrete) can be slippery when both wet or dry, please take extra precaution in these areas and keep them as dry as possible at all times.

Liabilities

You acknowledge that we do not accept liability for any injury, damage, loss, additional expenses and disruptions due to electrical storms, power outages over Bali, or other acts of God caused directly or indirectly by events, which are beyond our control and agree not to make any claim in relation thereto.

Changes Beyond Our Control

Compensation will not apply if a significant change is made for reasons beyond our control. These include: war, threat of war, riots, civil disturbances, terrorist activity, industrial disputes, natural and nuclear disasters, fire, epidemics, health risks, changes due to rescheduling or cancellation of flights by an airline or alteration of the airline or aircraft type; closed or congested airports or ports, hurricanes and other actual or potential severe weather conditions, act of government or public authorities or other circumstances amounting to Acts of God.

Selling The Villas

If for any reason the villas are sold before your arrival your accommodation cost will be refunded to your card on file that you first made the booking with. We will endeavor to give you as much notice as possible.

Breach of Terms and Conditions

You agree that, should you or your guests breach any of the terms and conditions: You will pay to us the total loss or damage that we suffer as a result of that breach. In these circumstances, we reserve the right to evict you and your guests without notice at any time.

PAYMENT OF A DEPOSIT OR FULL PAYMENT CONSTITUTES ACCEPTANCE OF THESE TERMS AND CONDITIONS.
